Our Story
LaFarris L. Risby, CFLE founded Loving Arms Enterprises as an in-home daycare after leaving an abusive marriage with her two children and no money. More than 27 years later, Loving Arms Enterprises is the largest African American owned business in the region and has grown to include four subsidiaries: Loving Arms Childcare and Preschool, Loving Arms University, MGB, and, LaFarris, Inc.

Dare to Dream
Dare To Dream candidly recounts the trials and triumphs of entrepreneur LaFarris L. Risby —A woman whose life is marred by the loss of her mother at the early age of six, teen motherhood at the age of 15, a trying marriage and later divorce to a womanizing abuser, and countless other setbacks and instances of misfortune. All the while, hidden beneath the depths of LaFarris’ despair, were the supernatural traces of divine intervention that would ultimately position her for destiny.
